Victor Romo, MD

Dr. Victor Romo is board certified by The American Board of Emergency Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001. Dr. Vic Romo received his degree of Doctor of Medicine in 2005 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He went through a General Surgery Internship Program and Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program in 2005 to 2008, in New York at Lenox Hill Hospital. In 2011, he completed the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Hennepin County Medical Center. He has been practicing as an emergency medicine physician for 11 years. Dr. Romo is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. He specializes in the BrainView technology to provide patients measurements of biomarkers related to memory loss, cognitive impairment, and other stress-related neurological conditions. He also helps patients with pain management by performing joint and extremity injections. His professional affiliations are with the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and New York Roentgen Society. Dr. Romo conducted many lectures throughout his career and published two articles with The Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Vic Romo is a tennis enthusiast who loves to travel, cook, and stay up-to-date with current events. He is not only dedicated to his patients, he also love spending quality time with his wife Malisa and two children, Lilas and Luca.
